We don’t have to be extreme to lose weight.
We just have to create a small calorie deficit, by exercising and eating less than our body uses, most days. And don’t overeat on the other days. If we repeat this for enough weeks, we will arrive at our goal weight.
We don’t have to be perfect. If the majority of days we are eating to our plan and getting some exercise, then the odd day when it all goes pear-shaped, won’t matter in the long run.
Instead, we can give ourselves the gift of TIME.
Losing a little bit of weight most weeks, will get us to our goal weight.
Be patient, be consistent, don’t quit.
And the best part about losing it slowly, is that maintaining our goal weight is then a breeze.
